Ok, Im back! Well kind of. It has been quite an adjustment the last 2 months since having my beautiful baby girl, Madeleine Grace aka Maddie. Life has definitely changed! All for the better as I get to stare at this beautiful human all day long. It has been so fun just getting to know her and everyday more and more of her little personality is coming through. Everyday is a new day, everyday she changes so much. Yesterday she laughed for the first time, and I was a blubbering mess. I am sure we will have many more of those days. I could go on and on about her and this would be the longest post ever in the history of blog posts, so I won't keep babbling.
Today was my first day I caught a quick lunch with a girl friend sans baby and it felt so great. Don't get me wrong, I love being with my daughter but we as moms all need a little reset time. I don't have as much time to get dressed now and still don't fit into a lot of my pre pregnancy clothes, so I turned to my go to pants from The Wardrobe Department that I have been living in. I actually wore these all throughout my pregnancy as well so I figure why not just keep them in rotation. They are so comfortable and look great with most anything I pair with them, all the while making me still feel put together. Since I now have these new boobs that I don't have any idea what to do with, I have been wearing more man tailored or boyfriend shirts that have a bit more of an oversized feel. I have had this top for probably over 10 years and it is so perfect for this stage of life right now. It is a bit of a twist on a man tailored shirt and since I wasn't with baby I wasn't restricted in wearing something with easy access to breast feed. It is the softest lightweight cotton muslin for this hot weather. You can tie it several different ways which I love as it flatters the figure so well. I will definitely be wearing this over and over.
